Dear Pastor Shawn and Auntie Lian. I've been living with a family who are like my parents because my family situation is… complicated. Anyway, there's a guy who is a friend of the family, and I have started to like him. We've become friends and we hang out. But I've recently discovered that the daughter of the family I'm staying with likes the same guy. Whay should I go?

Dear Pastor Shawn and Auntie Lian. I'm not looking forward to this holiday season. My parents are arguing a lot, and it stresses me out. How do I get through this time?

Dear Pastor Shawn and Auntie Lian: I watch pornography. I know as a Christian I shouldn't, but I figure it's way better than acting out my desires with someone else. A few of my friends from church think the same. What do you think?

I'm a 16-year-old girl and struggling to have a social life. The few friends I had before COVID-19 have vanished into thin air and I'm struggling to find new ones. Do you have any advice on how I can approach people and maybe make a friend or two?

Dear Pastor Shawn and Auntie Lian. I like sports and I'm really good at it. I've recently qualified for a national event. The problem is, it's on Sabbath. My friends say I shouldn't break the Sabbath. I'm thinking, why would God give me such abilities if He doesn't want me to use them? What do you think?

I've been struggling with this problem recently where I find I get almost panicky when I have to do certain things like a presentation at school. Or, when I'm out somewhere, I'll feel as if everybody is looking at me. I haven't told anyone yet, because it sounds silly when I say it out loud. What do you think?

My parents have a problem with some of my friends because they have "tats" (tattoos). They think that I will want to get tattoos, even though I said I'm not interested. I'm frustated when my parents say they want me to hang out with "good people" -- but that's what my friends are!

A really good church friend of mine recently passed away. I really miss her, and I still find myself crying about her. Even though, as an Adventist, I know we believe that when we die, our bodies stay in the ground till the resurrection, I often wish -- as some people believe -- that she was looking down and watching over me wherever I go. Is that bad?
